About the Role

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of large-scale, complex IM/ICT projects within the healthcare sector. You will lead project teams, ensure compliance with project management methodologies, and drive stakeholder engagement to achieve successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage the planning, execution, and completion of complex IM/ICT projects in alignment with Government methodologies.
  • Promote and implement best-practice project management techniques, including risk management, benefits realisation, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor and report project performance against timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Lead and mentor multidisciplinary project teams to ensure effective collaboration and capability development.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement, ensuring clear communication and effective business change adoption.

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

  • Proven experience managing large-scale IM/ICT or data-driven projects, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Strong stakeholder relationship management skills with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies (e.g., PRINCE2) and best-practice techniques.
  • Excellent negotiation, consultation, and communication skills for working in a complex project environment.
  • Experience in leading, managing, and mentoring multi-disciplinary teams.

The Benefits

This contract role offers a daily rate between $950-1200, running through to 30 June 2025, with flexible working arrangements. The role is based at The Precinct, Fortitude Valley, with a requirement for 2-3 days in the office per week (including a team day on Friday).
