Are you a skilled Manual Tester with deep Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience looking for your next government contract? This is a 9-month hybrid role open to candidates across multiple Australian states and territories.
This role requires the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and to already hold an ACTIVE Baseline Clearance.
THE ROLE
Our client, a federal government tribunal, is delivering a major multi-year Case Management Solution Program that will replace existing customer-facing portals with a consolidated, streamlined client experience. As the program moves into its delivery phase, they need an experienced Manual Tester to sit within the program team and help ensure high-quality digital services are delivered in an agile environment. This is an APS 5 equivalent contract role available to candidates based in QLD, WA, ACT, NSW, NT, SA, or TAS, with hybrid working arrangements and occasional office visits required. The initial contract runs for 9 months with a 6-month extension option, estimated to start 14 September 2026. Candidates must be able to obtain a Baseline security clearance.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Designing, documenting and executing comprehensive test plans across enterprise business applications
• Delivering System Testing (ST), System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) modules
• Validating workflows, forms, security roles, data migration and custom D365 extensions
• Testing D365 integrations with Azure services including Logic Apps, Service Bus, Dataverse and APIs
• Maintaining test cases, test scripts and traceability matrices aligned to functional and business requirements
• Using Azure DevOps for test management, defect tracking, requirement traceability and reporting
• Collaborating with business analysts, developers, solution architects and product owners to clarify requirements and support delivery
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
• Extensive hands-on Manual Testing experience within D365 environments
• Proven experience across ST, SIT and E2E testing for D365 modules, configurations and customisations
• Demonstrated ability to validate D365 integrations with Azure services and third-party systems
• Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar tools for test management and defect tracking
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and defect documentation skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
NICE TO HAVE
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress or Playwright
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins or GitHub
• Ability to troubleshoot basic automation failures
