Talent Street is looking for an experienced Senior SAP Software Engineer for one of our clients in the Federal Government.  

 

 

About the organisation

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA HR / Payroll functional resource to support this work. The role will focus on supporting the transition of HR/Payroll processes and capabilities as the organisation adopts the S/4 HANA HR architecture.

Working closely with HR and payroll stakeholders across a shared services environment supporting multiple agencies, the successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring HR and payroll capabilities continue to support business outcomes throughout the system conversion and remain compliant with Australian Federal Government legislative and policy requirements.

This role requires deep functional expertise in functional SAP HR /Payroll and a strong ability to communicate system changes clearly to business users and leadership.

 

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and capabilities:

  • Demonstrated expertise with SAP S/4 HANA HR/Payroll functions.
  • Strong configuration expertise within SAP HR and Payroll modules.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, employee lifecycle management, and organisational management within SAP.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian payroll legislation and public sector employment frameworks.
  • Experience supporting SAP ECC6 to S/4 HANA system conversions will be highly regarded.
  • Experience working within shared services or multi-entity HR environments is highly desirable.

 

The following skills are considered highly desirable, these include (but are not limited to):

  • Experience and expertise in SAP HR / Payroll functions, including experience with SAP S/4 HANA
  • Formal qualifications and/or relevant experience in SAP.
