Junior Business Analyst – Government / Digital Health 

Daily Rate: $700 – $900 inclusive of super
Location: Brisbane, Canberra, Sydney (Hybrid working arrangements)

Working within a collaborative delivery team, you will play a key role in shaping digital health products and services that support healthcare providers and the broader health ecosystem.

About the Role

As a Junior Business Analyst, you will support the analysis, design, and delivery of enhancements across a suite of digital health platforms. You will work closely with product managers, technical teams, and healthcare stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements across digital health products and services
  • Support the identification and definition of business problems within national health infrastructure
  • Assist in developing solution designs, target state blueprints, and product roadmaps
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including ICT specialists and healthcare stakeholders
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships to support delivery outcomes and product alignment
  • Contribute to project delivery through both Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Ensure solutions align with healthcare regulatory standards and organisational governance frameworks

About You

  • Previous experience working within Government, healthcare or digital health sector is essential
  • Experience working in an Agile software development environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, high-quality documentation (e.g. business requirements, process maps, solution designs)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative and proactive approach
  • Relevant qualifications in Business Analysis, Solution Architecture, or equivalent practical experience
