Talent Street is looking for an experienced Senior Clinical Systems Manager to lead the delivery, optimisation and support of clinical technology across a growing healthcare organisation. This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing critical clinical applications and ensuring they run reliably, securely and in line with operational needs.
The ideal candidate can be based anywhere in Australia but must be:
- Willing to relocate to the UK
- Must have full-working rights in the UK
About the Role
You will manage a portfolio of clinical systems used across oncology, hematology, imaging, and related care services, along with connected platforms such as billing, integrations, and third-party interfaces.
This career shaping role provides the opportunity to work closely with clinical teams, technology partners, vendors, and the broader IT function to ensure these systems are stable, high-performing, and continuously improving. Additionally, you will lead a small technical team, drive project delivery, and support planned system expansion as the organisation continues to grow and evolve.

What You’ll Do
- Oversee day-to-day support for clinical applications and ensure system reliability
- Partner with clinical teams to understand needs and deliver effective technology solutions
- Manage vendors and service providers, ensuring high-quality delivery and performance
- Lead upgrades, enhancements, and implementation projects across clinical systems
- Maintain documentation, support processes, and a clear roadmap of improvements
- Reduce technical debt and keep platforms current and secure
- Provide leadership, guidance, and development to clinical systems staff
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security and service desk teams to maintain stable environments
What You'll Bring
- Experience supporting or managing clinical information systems in a healthcare environment
- Strong technical background across enterprise applications, integrations, and system support
- Experience leading small teams or managing complex multi-stakeholder projects
- Knowledge of patient workflows, clinical operations, or regulated IT environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage clinicians, executives and vendors
- Relevant qualifications or industry certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft, cloud, Citrix)
- Ability to work autonomously, solve problems independently, and deliver outcomes reliably

- Annual leave of 25 days + bank holidays (increasing to 27 days after 3 years’ service)
