IT Infrastructure Officer Location: Hervey Bay
Type: Temporary Full-Time (36.25 hours per week)
We’re looking for a skilled IT Infrastructure Officer to join a collaborative and forward-thinking team, supporting the ongoing availability, performance, and security of corporate IT systems.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud environments
- Administer the full lifecycle of infrastructure assets (physical, virtual, and cloud)
- Manage system updates, software patches, and security compliance
- Deliver cyber security awareness and training to staff
- Contribute to disaster recovery and business continuity planning
- Coordinate IT projects and vendor relationships to ensure efficient delivery
- Provide high-quality customer support to internal stakeholders
About You
You’re a proactive problem solver who thrives on keeping systems secure and reliable. You can balance hands-on technical work with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
You’ll also bring:
- Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Information Technology
- Demonstrated experience in supporting and administering Windows environments
- Solid understanding of networks, Microsoft 365, servers, and cloud infrastructure
- Strong analytical, organisational, and troubleshooting abilities
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to great customer service
- A current QLD driver’s licence is required.
