Our client, a leading State Government healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced Test Analyst for an exciting contract opportunity. This role offers the chance to contribute to high-value ICT initiatives within the Strategic Projects division, supporting innovative projects like the System Replacement to improve healthcare outcomes for the wider community.
About the Role
The Test Analyst will play a critical role in delivering robust testing for ICT application projects. Working alongside the Test Lead, you will coordinate and execute testing activities, collaborating with clinical and non-clinical staff, project teams, and external partners to ensure project success.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Test Lead to develop and implement test plans for integration, system, user acceptance, and production validation testing.

Design and execute test cases, create traceability matrices, record results, and report defects.

Support defect triage and management processes.

Provide test progress updates and contribute to test summary reports and acceptance sign-offs.

Assist with test environment configuration and release management controls.

Coordinate testing with stakeholders, building strong relationships to ensure rigorous and effective testing outcomes.
About You
To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

Proven experience as a Test Analyst with strong knowledge of Queensland Health systems and processes.

Hands-on expertise in system testing, system integration testing, UAT, and production validation testing.

Experience with System Integration Testing, particularly HL7 messaging (black-box testing with HBCIS and ieMR), is highly desirable.

Familiarity with Sleep and Respiratory systems, HBCIS, Patient Flow Manager (Kyra Flow), or ieMR is advantageous.

ISTQB certification is mandatory.

Experience with Jira and Zephyr is preferred.

Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
