• Design software implementations of functional descriptions for new and altered functionality
• Build and modify software and automated unit tests
• Estimate development effort for specified new or changed software
• Provide advice based on analysis of existing software
• Troubleshoot software incidents and problems using an ITIL framework
• Improve software development processes through innovative ideas to enhance user experience, reduce costs or increase quality

1. Expertise and experience with the implementation and development of Oracle Forms/PL/SQL in large enterprises.

3. Highly developed technical skills that demonstrate highly developed conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills with capacity to exercise sound judgement.

Role: Software Developer (MuleSoft)

Talent Street is looking for a Software Developer (MuleSoft) for one of our large Victorian State government clients.

Role purpose  

The MuleSoft Integration Developer will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining integration solutions that enable seamless data flow and connectivity across enterprise systems. This role requires deep expertise in MuleSoft, including API-led connectivity, integration patters, and microservice architecture. The role is critical in ensuring that integrations are secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with enterprise architecture standards.

The successful candidate will bring strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex integration requirements into robust technical solutions. They will be experienced in API design, implementation and governance, and able to work collaboratively in delivery teams. Clear communication skills will be essential to partner with stakeholders, understand business needs, and ensure integration solutions deliver measurable outcomes.

Essential skills & Capabilities

• Proven experience in developing, deploying and managing integrations using MuleSoft
• Strong expertise in API-Led connectivity and REST/SOAP web services.
• Strong experience in Application Development using Mule ESB and SOA/EAI technologies and API management using MMC and Anypoint platform
• Must have experience with designing Restful APIs using API description tools such as RAML, Swagger, API blueprint, etc.
• Strong understanding of integration design pattern, error handling and message transformation
• Proficiency in microservices and event-driven architectures
• Experience implementing API security authentication, and authorisation standards (e.g. OAuth 2.0, JWT, SAML)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, GIT repositories, and automated deployment in tools such as Azure DevOps.
• Understanding of cloud and hybrid integration models, including Azure and AWS environments
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging and performance optimisation skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Duration: Contract - 6 months

Talent Street is looking for a Drupal Developer / Senior Drupal Developer for one of our large Victorian State government clients.

Technical Skills:

• Proficient in PHP, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, MYSQL, Drupal 
• Strong experience in Responsive web design, design systems and WCAG 2.1 / 2.2 compliant websites 
• Optimizing Drupal websites for performance and security 
• Troubleshooting Drupal Website Issues 
• Advanced site building experience including deep familiarity with Drupal Modules, themes, views and permissions. 
• Proficient in creating and maintaining functional and technical specifications which also includes technical design documents 
• Experience in version control processes 
• Acts as a touchpoint for internal and external stakeholders 
• Experience in integrating Drupal with 3rd party services and APIs like Payment system, document management/records management systems etc. 
• Current knowledge of web standards, digital service design best practice, key trends and useability issues. 

Qualifications:

• Local government or large corporate organisation experience is desirable (but not required) 
• Relevant Diploma/Undergraduate degree and experience, or extensive relevant IT, Computer Science, Web Programming experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and/or education or training. 
• Experience integrating payment gateways and using records management tools: e.g., Content Manager - CM9/SharePoint 
• At least 7+ years of practical experience in Web development (Drupal Environment) 
• Demonstrated experience in designing, programming, testing, upgrading websites according to specification. 
• Immediate Start – December 2024
