Job Description
Seeking Advisor, Configuration Management to support critical integration activities for Stage 3 (Metro-style system) of a Major Rail project (multi-year), led by a QLD state government agency.

Purpose
Being part of the Integration Team, and reporting into Manager, Configuration Management, the Advisor, Configuration Management is responsible for maintaining technical configuration traceability at package and system levels, ensuring changes are captured, assessed, and baselined against approved configuration states.
Responsibilities
- Administer configuration registers (items, baselines, relationships), linking to IDS/ICDs and requirements.
- Prepare configuration status reporting and support Configuration Control Boards.
- Verify that approved changes are reflected in design, test, and assurance artefacts.
- Support alignment between configuration states, IMS milestones, and RCCP submissions.
Looking for
- Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure construction programs, ideally in the rail infrastructure sector.
- Hold relevant tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (engineering, project management, business, etc.)
- 3+ years’ relevant demonstrated experience working in related roles, overseeing or supporting technical integration, configuration management and testing and commissioning activities on major rail infrastructure projects (>$100 million).
- Proficiency with configuration tools and document/data control; understanding of ISO 10007 and QR MD-21-247.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with the ability to manage configuration baselines and ensure traceability across project phases.
- Experience working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to align configuration management activities with project objectives and delivery milestones.
