Job Description

Role Title: Solution Architect
Location: Melbourne
Contract Duration: 12-month contract with potential for 12-month extension

Primary Purpose
The Solution Architect is responsible for the end-to-end design and implementation of technical solutions that align with strategic business goals. The role requires collaboration across multiple teams to ensure integration of systems, efficient data flows, and adoption of architectural best practices. The architect will guide project delivery with a strong focus on scalability, security, sustainability, and interoperability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture
- Provide technical guidance and governance across solution development and integration
- Evaluate and recommend changes, ensuring compliance with architecture standards and security policies

2. Data Science
- Lead the design of data science and analytics solutions
- Identify suitable data sources and drive the full development lifecycle

3. Data Engineering
- Design and maintain data pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and integration
- Conduct advanced data quality checks and remediation

4. CRM and Customer Experience
- Develop and implement customer relationship strategies
- Integrate CRM systems with broader business applications

5. Consultancy
- Understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Advise on options and implement solutions based on analysis and stakeholder feedback

Key Selection Criteria
- Proven experience designing and implementing data and CRM solutions using middleware, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures
- Expertise in developing scalable, high-performance integration solutions
- Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills
- Deep knowledge of industry best practices for data integration, transformation, and architecture
- Ability to work under pressure, manage complex issues, and apply innovative approaches

Desirable Qualifications
- Certifications in cloud platforms or integration tools (e.g., AWS, Oracle, MuleSoft)
- Strong background in cloud architecture, system integration, and software development
