Job Description

Talent Street is looking for a Sharepoint & M365 Developer for one of our Qld Government clients. This is a 6-month contract with possible extension starting mid of June 2026.

The role requires to work from the office 2 to 3 days per week.

As a SharePoint and M365 Developer , you will be providing support and delivering an internal project. You will be responsible for designing and delivering business solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies, leveraging SharePoint Online and Teams as a data and content platform and building custom applications, interfaces and workflows.

You will work closely with project managers, business analysts, solution architects, and other stakeholders to design and develop high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions using the Microsoft 365 platform and Power Platform tools like PowerApps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Pages, Copilot Studio, and Power BI.

Your role will be to ensure that the solutions meet the business needs and requirements of customers, while also adhering to the organisation and industry best practices and standards.

The Developer will be responsible for the following:

  • Build and deploy solutions within Microsoft 365 platform, including SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate and Power Apps.
  • Create, configure, and maintain Power Platform solutions that overarch the SharePoint Online platform.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint Online as a data and content repository.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Participate in the full software development life cycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment. 
  • Significant hands-on experience in configuration, implementation, maintenance and/or support of Microsoft Power Apps – Canvas and Model driven apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, and Dynamics 365 solutions in a large complex environment.
  • Demonstrated 2+ years’ experience in developing business solutions and applications workflows and processes using Power Platform Solutions (incl. Power Apps and Power Automate) and integrating into Dynamics 365 or with other Microsoft solutions.
  • Experience in managing the application lifecycle for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 using pipelines.
  • Current and varied experience across public and private sector is highly desirable.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Microsoft 365 and Power Platform solutions.
  • Lead and role model customer focus behaviour by encouraging innovation and knowledge sharing.
  • Support the Development and implementation of communication plans, organisational change management plans and benefit realisation plans where necessary.
  • Liaise closely with all project stakeholders including Project Executives, Project Board Members, Senior Users, Senior Suppliers as well as Senior Management and the transitioned team.
  • Ensure project administration activities are undertaken in accordance with internal governance and compliance practices.
  • The key measures of success for this role are delivery of projects and work packages to the agreed Scope, Schedule, Quality and Budget baselines.

Highly desirable skills:

  • Qualification or equivalent experience in information technology, or a related field.
  • Strong Experience in SharePoint online is essential.
  • Microsoft Certification in Microsoft Power Platform and/or Dynamics 365.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure/AWS is preferred.
  • Experience in either Azure DevOps GIT repo or GitHub.
  • Experience with Application Lifecycle Management (ALM pipelines).
  • External Tables and Power Platform Dataverse and Dataflows experience.
