Business Systems Analyst

Contract: 6 January 2026 – 24 December 2026

We are seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to support a major program of work by leading the development of Business Requirements, Functional and Non-Functional Requirements, and undertaking key analysis activities across multiple projects.

This role is critical in ensuring a clear and accurate definition of business needs, enabling the successful delivery of high-quality technical solutions that meet organisational objectives.

About the Role

The Business Systems Analyst will document current-state processes, analyse business pain points, and design optimised future-state processes aligned to business and technical requirements. Working closely with the Project Manager, Business Application Owners and IT stakeholders, you will play a central role in shaping effective solutions and ensuring traceability throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring activities
  • Define and document the business analysis approach, stakeholder analysis and communication plans
  • Conduct requirements elicitation for business, functional and non-functional needs
  • Analyse business change impacts and provide clear recommendations
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships and work proactively with external implementation partners
  • Document As-Is and To-Be processes, business rules and elicitation outcomes
  • Manage, prioritise and maintain traceability of business requirements
  • Develop Business Requirements Specifications and manage business issues
  • Create detailed Functional Specifications, including interface and configuration requirements
  • Support the Project Manager with additional project activities as required
  • Contribute to meeting quarterly KPIs
