Senior Vlocity Software Developer 

  • Estimated start date: Monday, 18 August 2025
  • Initial contract duration: 12 months

  • Location of work: ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC, WA
  • Working arrangements:
    Hybrid working arrangements. Contractors must work a minimum of 3 days per week onsite, with flexible arrangements for the remaining 2 days
  • Maximum hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Security clearance: Must be able to obtain Baseline

Job Overview

 As a Senior Vlocity / Salesforce Developer, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary scrum team delivering high-profile, transformational Salesforce-based projects.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  1. • Work within a scrum team to deliver robust and scalable Salesforce-based solutions.
  2. • Develop high-quality Vlocity components, including OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
  3. • Create and support design standards and ensure adherence through peer reviews and governance.
  4. • Build solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
  5. • Collaborate with developers, solution architects, UI/UX designers, and accessibility experts.
  6. • Support the rollout of CI/CD pipelines and test automation practices.
  7. • Contribute to continuous improvement and mentoring within the team.
  8. • Support production deployments across environments including testing and release support.
  9. • Participate actively in scrum ceremonies and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Essential Criteria

  1. • Hands-on experience with Salesforce Vlocity platform, specifically Apex, LWC, OmniScripts, FlexCards, Integration Procedures, and DataRaptors.
  2. • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), frameworks, and design patterns.
  3. • Proven experience building and integrating REST APIs and Platform Events.
  4. • Salesforce certifications: Platform Developer I & II, and OmniStudio Developer.
  5. • Experience with GitLab or similar source control tools and package-based development.

Desirable Criteria

  1. • Proficiency in GitLab and package-based development processes.
  2. • Experience using Atlassian Jira, VSCode, and DevOps practices.
  3. • Successful delivery of at least 4+ Salesforce CRM projects using Agile methodology.
  4. • Interest in accessibility and a passion for inclusive, user-focused design and development.
