Talent Street is looking for an Integration Developer for one of our Victorian State government clients. The role will be part of their Student Management System transformation project team.
Role: Integration Developer - MuleSoft
Locations: Melbourne
Duration: Fixed-term Contract – 12 months
Role purpose:
The Integration Developer will support an implementation of the Student Management System (SMS) Transformation project.
This is a major transformation project which covers the system requirements, identifying and documenting new processes, ensuring compliance, integration of other relevant systems, training, change management and working within tight budget and timeline parameters.
The Integration Developer will play a vital role in design, build and testing of integrations between various applications, understanding the current state and building the future state to support the business outcomes of the project.
As an Integration Developer, your key responsibilities include:
- Utilize MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio to design and develop integrations, ensuring seamless data flow between applications.
- Develop and test MuleSoft APIs to integrate systems, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee efficient data exchange and integration across various platforms.
- Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to optimize the performance of integration solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for MuleSoft APIs and integrations.
- Following business requirements to improve integration development plans
- Managing retrieval systems and organizational databases after integration to detect bugs or errors
- Participate in Go-live support after the deployment of the new system.
- Encourage knowledge transfer and lessons learnt by documenting activities to drive best practice and continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with:
- Proven experience in designing and developing integrations using MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio.
- Well-developed skills and experience in MuleSoft AnyPoint Studio, MuleSoft or AWS Development, and knowledge in Automation in Systems Integration.
- Experience with AWS development, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines is desirable.
- Optional knowledge of GitHub for version control.
- Extensive technical design, development, build and test experience.
- Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills, with a high degree of initiative and flexibility and
- Demonstrated ability to investigate complex issues.
- Experience with the development and execution of test plans and test cases to ensure the delivery of quality system solutions
- Well‐developed negotiation and interpersonal skills with the proven ability to work at a senior level with internal and external resources.
Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualification/s in Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Development.
