  • Engage and influence senior stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into business-aligned outcomes

This role requires strong analytical capability, critical thinking and the ability to operate confidently in environments involving risk, ambiguity and legislative constraints.

Essential Experience

  • Minimum five years’ experience as an Enterprise Architect within large, complex ICT programs

  • Demonstrated expertise in defining current and future state solution architectures, including:

    • Infrastructure mapping

    • Data management

    • Integration mapping

  • Proven ability to design architecture that aligns with business requirements and organisational constraints

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical domains

  • Demonstrated experience influencing stakeholders and negotiating outcomes in complex environments

  • Working knowledge of enterprise architecture methodologies such as TOGAF and/or Zachman

  • High levels of integrity, professionalism and results orientation within legislative and budget frameworks

Desirable Experience

  • Professional certifications across architecture domains (business, data, application or technology)

  • Familiarity with Commonwealth ICT and governance frameworks

Working Arrangements

Hybrid working is supported. Preference will be given to candidates based in Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne or Adelaide.

Candidates located outside Canberra may be required to travel periodically for onboarding, planning workshops or training (approximately 1–2 times per quarter, as required). Travel will be discussed in advance wherever practicable.

If you are a strategic Enterprise Architect with experience shaping large-scale transformation programs and delivering architecture assurance in complex government environments, this is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in a nationally significant initiative.
