Role: A06 Training Facilitator / Delivery & Training Coordinator
Location: Brisbane CBD
Duration: Contract – 6 months
Talent Street is looking for an experienced Training Facilitator for one of our clients in the QLD State Government.
Role purpose:
The Training Facilitator will report directly to the Training Lead and will be responsible for the delivery of the SMP Training Strategy, delivering training and supporting post training requirements.

Skills and Experience:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training Facilitator who can hit the ground running and thrive in a fast-paced project environment.
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience and Expertise:
- Demonstrated experience in delivering in-person training sessions, particularly in a government or corporate setting.
- Familiarity with contact centre solutions, preferably Amazon Connect, or the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes.
- Support the roll out of digital telephony and CRM capability across the business
- Deliver end-user training across metro and regional locations throughout Queensland
- Provide hyper care support following go-live to ensure end-users are supported throughout the transition
Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a project team, including collaborating with Change Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with diverse stakeholders and training participants.
Change Management and Adaptability:
- Experience in supporting change management initiatives, particularly in environments with change-resistant participants.
- Ability to adapt training delivery to suit diverse audiences and learning styles.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong presentation and facilitation skills to engage and motivate participants.
Travel and Flexibility:
- Willingness and ability to travel state-wide to deliver in-person training sessions (Townsville, Mt. Isa, Cairns, Fraser Coast and others as required)
- Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and locations.
Technology Proficiency:
- Strong understanding of technology and the ability to quickly learn and deliver training on new systems.
- Proficiency in using virtual collaboration tools and basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience in using training software such as the Articulate Suite and Learning Management Systems valued.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification).
- Experience in training delivery within a government or housing services context.
- Knowledge of Queensland Government policies and procedures, particularly in relation to housing services and ICT projects.
