The Opportunity

As a Senior Network Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise-grade network services. You’ll work alongside multidisciplinary experts to modernise infrastructure, support cloud transitions, and ensure optimal performance across geographically dispersed systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design and maintain current and future state network architecture.
- Lead network infrastructure upgrades and cloud integration initiatives.
- Provide operational support and troubleshooting for network services.
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to deliver outcomes.
- Mentor team members and contribute to a culture of excellence and innovation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise in network analysis, optimisation, and support.
- Must be able to obtain NV1 Security Clearance
- Strong hands-on experience with Layer 2 technologies (VLANs, Trunks, STP).
- Ability to implement network topology in cloud environments (e.g., Azure).
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement across distributed teams.
- Demonstrated integrity and results-driven approach within policy frameworks.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience with FortiGate firewalls, BGP/OSPF, DWDM, DNS/DHCP.
- Cloud networking knowledge and application performance troubleshooting.
- Relevant qualifications or vendor certifications.
