Role: Business Analyst – Transformation

Locations: Townsville, QLD

Duration: Contract – 12 months

Working Rights: Open to PR / Australian Citizens  

Working Arrangements: Onsite, can arrange for 1-day WFH

Talent Street is looking for a Business Analyst for one of the largest local government authorities in Northern Australia.

Key Requirements

• Demonstrated experience role modelling a positive safety culture and adherence to the Health Safety Management Systems through visible leadership and exercising due diligence and management of compliance and legislative obligations.
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience in enterprise systems and digital transformation.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business analysis or a related role, with at least 3 years’ experience working on business process improvement, or transformation projects within a large, complex organisation.
• Proven experience working in project teams, with a strong track record of delivering end-to-end process design, workflow mapping, and procedural documentation that support system implementation and business transformation.
• Proven ability to engage, influence, and build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels through effective consultation and negotiation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate business framework concepts into clear, audience-appropriate language.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex system environments, identify process inefficiencies, and support the integration of diverse business requirements.
• Proven ability to demonstrate resilience, self-awareness, and emotional intelligence in navigating complex project environments and stakeholder engagements.
• Proven adaptability in dynamic environments, with the ability to prioritise and respond effectively to shifting project demands, stakeholder needs, and evolving business priorities while maintaining efficiency and focus
• Current Queensland ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
