Working arrangements
The Buyer’s hybrid working model requires the specified
personnel to attend the Buyer’s premises a minimum of two days
per week, with the other three days working from the specified
personnel’s home. The Seller acknowledges that operational
requirements may dictate that specified personnel attend the
Buyer’s premises more often as directed by the Buyer at its
absolute discretion.

Job details
Software Engineers have experience overseeing software development projects, writing optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. They are responsible for the quality and functionality of the software produced by their team. Please note AUSTRAC requires an IDAM (ForgeRock) Engineer for this role which has been aligned to Software Engineer job family.
Key duties and responsibilities
The duties & responsibilities of the IDAM Engineer are:
- Support the delivery of a transformational new user registration process, Guidance and advice as part of the implementation of the transformational new user registration process.
- Work with AUSTRAC SMEs on ForgeRock component configurations, service checks and ensure service stability for current and future workloads.
- Design, develop, test & implement identity management frameworks, systems and protocols.
- Develop, implement and manage IAM systems including: SSO, authentication and access controls to ensure security, confidentiality, integrity and availability of IAM systems and data.
- Develop and manage patterns for application deployment that manage security at every level.
- Ensure that all procured and / or developed IAM systems are implemented properly and function as intended.
- The IDAM Engineer will have the following skills and experience:
Mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with the ForgeRock Identity platform (including
- Access Management and Identity management modules)
- Experience working in a secure government environment (federal, state or similar)
- Extensive hands-on experience with identity and access management, including.
- Open standards.
- Best practices and procedures; and
- Various software solutions.
- Design, implementation and maintenance experience with the ForgeRock product suite.
- Experience performing deployments in highly secure and highly available environments.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting, identifying and resolving technical identity and access management related issues.
Desirable
- Experience in continuously improving identity and access management solutions and systems for protection against evolving threats.
- Knowledge of automation and Dev/Ops practices.
- The ability to work collaboratively with business-driven project teams as well as infrastructure teams
