Cloud Security Engineer (Federal Government)
Contract - 12 months - with possible extensions
40 hours / week
ACT – preferred (hybrid)
Australian Citizen – with baseline or must be able to obtain one

Key Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience 5yrs+ supporting security operations engineering projects within the Azure environment, including architecture documentation, deployment of services, process automation and reviews and general feature updates.
• Demonstrated experience in managing cloud-based security services such as Sentinel, MS Defender, SIEM solutions, Endpoint Protection services (EDR), Office 365, Data Loss Prevention tools, CASB, Vulnerability Scanning and Management.
• Demonstrated experience in cloud-based solution implementation with technologies including Azure Logic Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Service Bus, Azure API Manager.
• Experience developing and deploying solutions using Azure DevOps and Visual Studio for code development and management of repositories, and deployments using CI/CD.
• Ability to work with geographically dispersed teams, including ability to work with technical and non-technical staff at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate and mentor team members to promote team harmony.
• Experience working with Agile multi-disciplinary teams to deliver secure, user friendly and reliable solutions that meet stakeholder, citizen, and business expectations.
• Ability to pragmatically change direction and scope as new information is discovered and challenges or opportunities present themselves.
