Contract Duration    : Initial 12 months contract with 2*12 months possible extension

Development and programming professionals design, create, test and document new and amended software components from supplied specifications in accordance with agreed development and security standards and processes. SAP CRM Developers manage teams to ensure the high quality and consistent delivery of projects based on their understanding of business requirements. The role contributes as a management stakeholder to long-living, maintainable, high quality solutions. SAP CRM Developers exercise a considerable degree of independence and undertake a leadership role, with work being performed under the general guidance of senior staff. 

 

Primary Knowledge/Skills/Systems/Tools required  

 

  • SAP CRM, ABAP, BRF+, UI, BOPF Framework and/or SAP Social Services Module

 

Key duties may include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Proactively understand business needs and offer solutions that align across business units
  • Contribute as a management stakeholder to long-living, maintainable, high-quality components
  • Ensure the strategy roll-out into own team and organisation
  • Manage the delivery of ict services, programmes or project work
  • Ensure compliance with endorsed software development methodologies
  • Fluence and contribute to technological strategy, resolving conflicts as needed
  • Assist senior managers in the development of operational policy and procedures
  • Lead and manage staff, including overseeing the management of performance, attendance, and health and wellbeing
  • Lead and support operations of the team, including monitoring business performance, setting priorities and managing resources and workflow
  • Develop staff capability through coaching, mentoring and succession planning to increase performance, engagement and retention
  • Assist with business and strategic workforce planning, and drive the development of local strategies to improve against key performance measures
  • Assist with the management of finances, contracts, procurement, resources and expenditure within area of responsibility
  • Perform and manage cost analysis activities as required
  • Monitor and manage work output and quality against established performance standards, which may include the interpretation of quality analysis and reporting
  • Prepare and review a range of written material, which may include technical and corporate documentation
  • Report on the achievement of business outcomes, key performance indicators and quality assurance in managing performance
  • Engage and partner with other agencies and service providers to build service delivery capability
  • Attend interagency meetings and forums to obtain and share information
  • Encourage innovation, continuous improvement and manage and lead change
  • Exercise delegation in accordance with legislation and guidelines.

 

Candidate Selection Criteria  

Mandatory Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience of a minimum of two (2) years working as a SAP Technical Analyst in large scale SAP Australian Public Sector environment or similar.

Weighted Criteria

  • The Candidate’s employment history, prior experience in undertaking the same or similar role for an organisation of the same or similar size and complexity as the agency.
  • Demonstrated experience in any of the specialisation skills in the Description of Services and/or the SAP Social Services Module.
  • The Candidate’s skills relevant to the position being applied for.
  • The response describing how the Candidate’s skills, knowledge, experience and qualifications would contribute to the position being applied for.
