Role Overview
Lead Recruitment Consultant’s at Talent Street play a pivotal role in the recruitment team, providing strategic leadership and expertise in sourcing, attracting, and placing top talent. They are responsible for managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, from client engagement and job profiling to candidate placement and post-placement follow-up. This role requires a deep understanding of the IT industry, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates.
Lead Consultants are senior figures at Talent Street, leading by example and demonstrating their wealth of experience through creating quality outcomes for both client and candidate.
Role Highlights
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their hiring needs and culture.
- Conduct client meetings and presentations to provide recruitment solutions and strategies.
- Provide market knowledge and advice to clients.
- Business Development activities, proactively seeking opportunities to engage and build rapport.
- Develop a pipeline of work to enable achievement of financial goals.
- Identifying and developing new markets and improving reach.
- Client development activity – calls, meetings, marketing (industry events, candidate floats, client relationship development through coffee / lunch meetings, etc).
Candidate Sourcing & Assessment:
- Utilise various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify potential candidates.
- Screen and interview candidates to assess their skills, qualifications, and cultural fit.
- Providing top quality recruitment solutions to clients by landing and expanding on opportunities for Talent Street's services.
- Present qualified candidates to clients and coordinate the interview process.
Recruitment Strategy:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies and campaigns to attract top talent.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to optimise recruitment processes.
Candidate Placement:
- Manage the entire candidate placement process, including offer negotiation and acceptance.
- Ensure a smooth transition for candidates into their new roles.
- Conduct post-placement follow-ups to gather feedback and address any concerns.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with colleagues in the drive to meet team and company goals.
- Share insights and best practices with team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Skills & Attributes Required
- A minimum of 3 years' experience winning business in the ICT sector.
- Proven recruitment consultant, with a history creating high quality outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and IT fluency.
- Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task.
- Excellent organisational skills, along with a can-do attitude.
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty.
- Prior working knowledge of local IT market with strong networks.
